There is life and light and hope in the world. I know this journal is probably "supposed to be" all about flowers and weddings and how wonderful they are. And they ARE wonderful. Believe me, they really are! But sometimes I just want to share my thoughts here too. Maybe it's therapeutic for me or creates some thoughts for you. Either way, thank you for letting me do so.

Back to life and light in the world... This spring and summer have been so wonderful as I have watched a variety of trees blossom, flowers grow and bloom, blue skies turn gray, and majestic mountains covered in snow, which now show only a small glimpse of white in the rocky crevaces.

It's been a hot one, with 100+ degree weather for over 10 days last week. But it has been beautiful. The streams, lakes, and rivers are full to the brim with water this year and adventure is in the air. Just take a look at these images of Moab by Stephanie Lorraine Photography! If you haven't been to smell the wildflowers, to dip your toes in the river, or lay out under the stars, do it. Summer is short. The world is beautiful. And life is good.
