Hunter + Ashton | Backyard Utah Reception
Backyard receptions can be so absolutely beautiful! It's all about creating an ambience, making your guests feel at ease, and celebrating your wedding! Backyard receptions tend to be less formal and more fun, so for couples who enjoy the outdoors and really want to party with their guests, this is a great option!!!
Backyard receptions don't have to be dull either. Spice it up with a fun installation like this canopy area, or add details to each table for guests to enjoy! Create a theme for your party and allow your guests to really relax and have a good time. There is no need for them to rush off! Make this their night's entertainment!
Hunter and Ashton were married on St. John's Island about a month before their reception. The space between their wedding day and reception allowed for a very laid back atmosphere, full of friends, family, and laughter. The backyard was set up in reception style, with a side area for yard games, a bonfire, and of course food! The bride and groom were dressed in regular attire, making it easy for them to join in on the fun!
The details of this wedding were so fun to create as we pulled in a combination of an industrial look, with added vintage and foliage details! My favorite piece turned out to be the cake table. Scroll down for it...and tell me what you think!
